Education system has been design for developing normal children in our school the courses methods and techniques of teaching have been developed for dealing with average children the population of children can be broadly classified into three categories average below average. the above average may be the gifted children education process may not suit to them as it has been developed for average children. similarly the below average may be the backward or poor children who cannot pays with average children the gifted children become problem children as a needs are not satisfy by educational process counselling can function as supportive device to identify such a special children and provide them educational guidance and remedial help Three Types of childrens problem have been discuss
Guidance for gifted children
It is essential to identify different children in general they are the above average lifted children and identify on the basis of IQ such student have more than 120 IQ is known as gift children the psychologist have been define gifted children these definition indicate the characteristics of gift of children
Hillingworth:-- by a gifted child we mean one who is far more educable than the generality of children are the greater ability may Li along the lines of one of the hours as in basic or drawing it may lie in sphere of Mechanical Aptitude or it may consist in power to achieve literacy and abstract knowledge

It should remember that all gift is children are not better than the average child in their physiological characteristics emotional ability or social adjustment
Education for gifted children
1)- selection:-- the first step in their education is to find out which child is gifted this selection can be made with the help of marks obtained at previous examination the advice of the class teacher the result of psychological test and their report given by parent
2)--No separate classes-- some psychologist have suggest the that gifted children should be taught in separate classes set apart from them
3)--Curriculum:-- Many psychologist have suggested that the gifted child should be made to study some subjects in addition to the normal syllabus for the average class. This is more practical suggestion because the gifted child's abilities can be better developed by the more comprehensive syllabus. It will also help to remove inactivity social difficulties and also create a better atmosphere in the class.
4) -- Faster promotion to higher classes:----It has also been suggested by some psychologist that the gifted child should be promoted to higher classes more rapidly than the other children.
Physically handicap children
Defe t of the eye:- school should provide facilities for regular check up for the children eyes so that it should be possible to know a defect as soon as possible. Besides making arrangements for having any such defect cured the teacher should also advise the students as to the proper mode of eye care.
Defect of ear:-some children are born deaf,with the result that they also remain dump since language cannot be learned without hearing. Being deaf they cannot profit by studying in the normal kind of school.
Defect of the speech:- some children are defect of speech such as stumbling over words mispronunciation etc. The children himself develop many undesirable attitudes.
